Misurio at the utility week – a review

Last week, Misurio and its partner company Likron participated in this year’s European Utility Week in Amsterdam. In addition to all major European utilities, many providers of smart-service hardware in the smart home, smart cities, renewables, gas and electricity presented their products at the colourful and innovation-driven exhibition. While the entire exhibition had a broad scope, Misurio and Likron were part of the EMART 2017 sub-conference, which focuses on electricity and gas trading. Between the stands of the two power exchanges Nordpool and Epex spot, Misurio and Likron presented their new cooperation Tandem. Roland Peetz (Founder and CEO of Likron) and Karl Werlen (Founder and CEO of Misurio) gave a presentation on “Trading with the new energy mix – A practical example” in addition to their booth and discussed the topic critically in a panel together with Paul-Erik Vermeulen (Head of Short Term Trading Engie) and Anne van der Molen (Grid Strategist at Stedin). The response to the moderators was very positive and the visitors followed the ideas and positions carefully. The general Utility Week 2017 was a success and allowed the two companies to connect with interesting people and companies.
The next joint event of Misurio and Likron will take place at the conference on intraday trading in Frankfurt.
